Josh's SB Under Spin- 1/4 Ounce- A LEAD mold that has been one of Josh's special secrets for years. We finally convinced him to let the cat out of the bag and add it to your swimbait fishing arsenal. With a sleigh front head design sliding over the grass or structure is easier. You can easily pour jigs heads without the weed guards or an underspin wire form to create regular jigs without much cleanup required. Use welding gloves and a clamp when filling the mold with lead. **Mold does not have a handle. Powder coating will help secure the bait keepers and keep them in place.

- 30 Degree hooks we prefer VMC #7216 4/0-5/0 and Mustad 32886 BLN 4/0-5/0.

Love he mold, only thing that would help is being able to fit shorter hooks, for shorter 3 inch swimbaits
First let me say, the workmanship of this mold is flawless. The shipping was fast.
The reason I only gave 3 stars, is because it’s not a scaled down version of the 3/8 underspin mold But it’s a 1/4 oz copy of the 3/8, with a smaller head. The 4/0-5/0 hooks weigh almost as much as the 1/4 oz head.
In my opinion if you’re going to downsize from 3/8 to 1/4 oz the hook size should be smaller on the 1/4 mold. I would give up the weed guard to have a 1/0 to 2/0 hook.
