2.8 rip rap

This mold as well as all the other angeling ai molds works wonderful. If your looking for a small swimbaid mold you should really give this one a try. My personal opinion is angeling ai has the best molds on the market

2.8"" Riprap

Very clean detaiing. When using clear plastisol, the 2.8" Riprap baits come out looking like glass, and the scales on the sides of the bait reflect the light very well.



The individual ports work great for laminates; I am new to injecting baits and these work very well for me.



A bonus is that when I'm shooting other molds and there's just a little left in the injector (not enough to fill a multi-cavity mold), I can fire one or two cavities of this mold and get a couple of baits...rather than having a big puck to throw in the re-melt pile.

Best size

Perfect size swim bait!! I was using the 3.8 but it was too big for my area. Ordered the 2.8 and it’s perfect!! Injects well and laminates well. Easy to use. Also a multi species bait. Big enough for bass small enough for crappie

As good as you can get.

Please note: The only reason I cannot give 5 stars is that I do not think it is possible with a bait this size. It works amazingly well on small mouth, walleye, and enthusiastic crappie (trout even try!). It has an outstanding action at low speeds that they can't seem to resist in cold water conditions. This leads to the problem, the tails are susceptible to toothy critters but if that problem gets solved you lose the action which is why I think you cannot get better at this size.
