This mold shoots perfect every time. Great grub for jigging lake trout or using as a trailer on a large spinnerbait for spring pike.

I love to make baits. I love to experiment with different colors & shapes and see how they look. This bait has *it*. It's a big bait for freshwater (but not too big, unless you're looking for panfish the same size as the bait!) and displaces a lot of water when swimming it. It's big enough that you can still cast it a good ways without any added weights, which makes it a good top-water option as well as on a weighted jig. The tail has a unique motion to it due to how "fat" it is, it doesn't move the same as smaller curly-tail grubs. All of this together makes it one of my favorite baits thus far. It's a great canvas for experimentation, the body is thick enough that I can capsule & dust or paint it easily and has enough surface area that it displays colorshifts extremely well. I thought it would drink a lot more plastic than it does, but it's not as thirsty as I believed it would be.

All in all, exactly what I hoped for when I purchased it.

Well made. Can't wait to use these grubs this spring for Lingcod on the Washington coast. I know they work.
