They are much cheaper at the hardware store, but if you have to have them, then use the Cotter Pin to help secure your treble hook to your swimbait. Pinch tightly around the hook shank and insert the pin along the belly line of the bait to keep the hook assembly tight. The cotter pin will last for many catches.
