Josh's SB Under Spin- 3/8 Ounce- A LEAD mold that has been one of Josh's special secrets for years.  We finally convinced him to let the cat out of the bag and add it to your swimbait fishing arsenal. With a sleigh front head design sliding over the grass or structure is easier.  You can easily pour jigs heads without the weed guards or an underspin wire form to create regular jigs without much cleanup required. Use welding gloves and a clamp when filling the mold with lead.  **Mold does not have a handle.

Jig Material Part Numbers (resourced from Barlows):

  • (2) WB800 keeper wire forms
  • (1) WEY375 Wire form for your spin blade
  • (2) #472712 wire weed guards 
  • 30 Degree hooks we prefer VMC #7216 4/0-5/0 and Mustad 32886 BLN 4/0-5/0.

    I bought this mold specifically to make underspins for redfishing. I had previously bought a mold from another manufacturer and it sucked, plain and simple. Josh's mold has been great and it pours fantastic

    No surprises here......high quality mold just like all the AI plastic molds. It pours great with and without weedguards, with and without underspin, and pairs nicely with a variety of different swimbaits. If your looking for an great underspin / swimbait head, here it is. You won't be disappointed.
